The Putki lamp was originally designed and made by a collective led by designer Matti Klenell that included Iittala for the re-opening of Swedens Nationalmuseum in Stockholm. Iittala scaled the Putki lamp for a new collection created by Matti Klenell that features a large mouthblown glass lantern in three complementary colours.
